Gain Twitter followers

Systems that stop growing will eventually decline. Passing equilibrium and eventual obsolescence is the major reason that Twitter communities should always look to build their follower base. How can you build your base of Twitter followers?

There is a thriving industry of Twitter Application Interfaces (API) that promise to build your followers for you. We are going to look at one of them for this post, TweetAdder.com. TweetAdder.com has long been a favorite of Daniel Sharkov (@DanielSharkov).

Daniel likes the fact that TweetAdder.com automates the process of finding followers. He makes a strong case for key strategic reasons that you should use Twitteradder.com.

  • Direct traffic — you gain visibility when you gain more followers
  • More followers lead to even more followers
  • The importance of social proof
  • You multiply your reach — by being retweeted by a larger community of followers

Daniel Sharkov is a successful blogger and Twitter personality. He has over 56,000 followers. So TweetAdder.com is likely to help you but I have some reservations. Twitter has been changing its position on Twitter API and is frankly cracking down on them.

Daniel asks the question “Is it possible to get banned from Twitter?” The answer is “Yes.” TweetAdder.com gives you the potential to quickly follow and then unfollow Tweeple; an activity that Twitter hates. So you need to be cautious if you are going to use TweetAdder.com .

By the way, Daniel, I have been meaning to ask you a question. Exactly how long have you been an eighteen year old blogger? It seems that it may have been a while...

I like a recent tweet from Pam Moore (@PamMktgNut). Pam says that “Hashtags are what make conversations possible, build communities, reporting & measurement etc on Twitter IMHO #getrealchat”. We agree.

Any conversation about finance that does not recognize the primacy of revenue is a farce. Social media is the best way to acquire new patients and therefore more revenue.
