Revo Keeps Your PC Clutter-Free

While we've talked about several easy strategies for keeping your PC clean and uncluttered so that it runs as fast as possible, there is still the matter of making certain that getting rid of unnecessary programs actually banishes them for good. Adding software and tools to your computer is usually as simple as clicking Install and Run, but removing them can present a few more steps, and they vary from program to program. It’s far from being as simple as dragging and dropping an icon into the recycle bin, unless you have a handy program like Revo Uninstaller.

No one wants a sluggish, overloaded PC, especially not if it's a unit they’re using for time-sensitive business projects. However, with so many programs and software that we download for one-time use and forget about, or even the items we install accidentally with careless clicks, our computers get weighed down faster than we want to believe. When completing site designs and redesigns for my Los Angeles website design clients, I encounter my share of flawed, impractical programs that eat up a ton of space and don’t really need to stay on the computer.

Revo Uninstaller, which only takes up 1.5 MB, presents a very user friendly and free alternative to Windows Add/Remove. Once installed, it presents you with all of your programs, icons, and titles. To access Uninstall and Remove options, just right click and your needless programs are gone. Help, About, and Update features are plainly displayed if you need any assistance, and an advanced mode of Revo gives you a program-specific registry key and the very helpful Junk Killer, which detects the items you need the least. Other options include cache-cleaning features and a click-and-drag uninstall feature called The Hunter.
