Maximize Password Protection with MyLok

What precautions have you taken to ensure that your clients' personal data stays safe in the increasingly ubiquitous cloud-based world? There is no denying that cloud storage and software is great for preserving your files and superior for keeping us organized by consolidating our important items in one or two accessible places. However, with such a convenience come familiar security risks that often start with password theft, which is why we cannot highlight too many security apps and programs to ensure that your private information stays that way, especially if they can eliminate the hassle of password resets. Enter MyLok.

Password resets may help prevent security breaches, but they are said to cost companies hundreds of millions of dollars. In my medium-sized Los Angeles website design company, we deal with them occasionally, but the MyLok main site estimates that in the minute and twelve seconds it takes to watch their informative product video, 45 people will make customer service calls to companies to request password resets. It's no surprise this eats up manpower and money.

MyLok is a chip-based password manager that is based in a dedicated USB device with encrypted storage. Once you have purchase and loaded the program, simply enter your PIN and you will have complete protection for any passwords you create and enter into forms and databases. This security will extend to clients accessing their account information from mobile devices, which is an increasingly valuable feature. In the event of any detected break-in MyLok's onboard processor will self-destruct, but it is easily replaceable.

MyLok is available for a one-time fee of $89.95 through its main site. With the 36KB it gives you, you can store up to 300 sets of passwords.
