Want to Make Videos with Flair? Lights, Camera, Cinefy!

Do you ever wish the videos you create on your phone looked a little more sleek and professional than, well, a video you made on a phone? Certainly we would all like the video content we make and publish in our names to look as good as possible, but not all of us have the time or resources to go to film school. Now, with a highly user friendly app called Cinefy, you can make seemingly basic mobile footage into an eye-catching, effects-laden movie clip faster than you can say Eisenstein.

There are plenty of accessible tools online for quickly recording and editing videos, many of which my team and i have used to enhance the sites of our Los Angeles website design clients, but Cinefy promises to mobilize all these capabilities and more for smartphone users. First, it requires no experience or knowledge of video production or editing. If you can tap a screen, you can add a variety of effects, many of which are familiar sites from video games and T.V. shows. The layout is clean with helpfully color-coded commands and features.

Also, Cinefy's uses don't stop at simple but polished video-making. Through Friendly Music, it also enables "one-click licensing" so instead of going to the trouble of adding copyrighted music that may or may not constitute a violation and get taken down, you have a built-in library of approved songs that can be made into your soundtrack with one click. When you're done, upload your video to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook through the app.

Currently, there is no release date or pricing for Cinefy but if you go to their main site you can enter your name and email to be among the first to try out this iPhone app in beta.
