Home Security in the Palm of Your Hand with ADT Pulse

How often do you find yourself away on travel or simply pulling a lengthy night in the office and wondering if you properly locked up, turned off climate controls, or set lights or security features accordingly? This common scenario happens to the best of us and it can prove frustrating and distracting when we're in transit or just away from our homes, loved ones, and valuables, but with ADT Pulse you have the ability to monitor and adjust your dwelling's security system settings from anywhere.

As an internet marketing professional, I appreciate that most of our day-to-day needs and responsibilities can be addressed and managed through our smartphones and tablets. Also, as a husband and father of four with a dog, I consider reliable home security to be paramount, especially when the work day at my Los Angeles website design company stretches to the wee hours. Thus, I really admire ADT Pulse's reconciling these notions by putting home security system control in the palm of the busy mobile user.

Through the use of Z-Wave technology, ADT Pulse allows you to keep tabs on not only alerts, light, thermostat, and video monitor settings, but also carbon monoxide presence, water leaks, electrical wiring, and appliances. Step behind your surveillance camera's lens to view entrances and exits, set or disarm alarms, or even turn off unneeded features to save power. Pulse is free for your existing ADT system and available for Androids, iPhones, iPads, and Blackberry's.
