Fall Is Here! Which Apps Will You Need?

It might be 85 in Los Angeles today, but Fall is officially here. Once we pass Halloween, its just a hop, skip, and a fun-size snickers to Thanksgiving and the rest of the holidays. So what will you need to prepare for it?

Think about what are the most stressful areas of the holidays for you. Do you spend too much too soon? Wait to buy gifts at the last minute? Promise too many people you'll spend Turkey day with their mother-in-law? Here are a couple great (and free) apps to help ease you into the holidays right.

Epicurious App: This has personally saved the day for many in the LADezign team. Fall is the season of potlucks, and for those of us that don't know where to find nutmeg in a grocery store, this app is a miracle. Put in any ingredients or dietary concerns you want in a recipe and Epicurious will give you a list of recipes, photos, and will even give you holiday themed treats. When you've found your recipe, they'll add it to a grocery list.

Cards App: Because the holidays sneak up on you, so many of us forget to send cards until its too late. Apple's Cards app let's you create stylized greeting cards from your iPhone and iPad and send it to your loved ones.

Airport Utility App: Tis the season for waiting in Airports. For those of us that don't stop working when the Holidays start know how hard it is to get work done while traveling. The Airport Utility app let's you manage your wifi connections and airport base stations to make it easier to log in what ever airport you're in.

What apps will you use for the holidays?
